Who can call the line? Any veteran, active duty, national guard, reservist, or a loved one of any of these populations, regardless of discharge status.

What types of resources can the MyFLVet team provide? The team has access to a database of 3,000+ community resources. They have options for housing, mental health, health care, jobs, family support, substance misuse, or any other area of need.

I’m worried my issue isn’t a big enough problem to call for help about: There is no issue too small or too big to ask for help with. Our team has heard it all and will provide a listening ear, validation, and will work to get you connected with the resources that will best support you and/or your family.

Why should I call the line? Couldn’t I just use Google? Our team is trained to ask additional questions to ensure we’re providing support for ALL of your needs. We are also working with a vast database of resources and ensuring that the information we’re providing to you is up to date and best suits your circumstances.

How much do these services cost? It is free to contact the Florida Veterans Support Line for help and resources, whether you just call the line or opt in to additional care coordination services.

Who am I talking to when I call? A trained intervention specialist who knows how to provide immediate emotional support. Care coordination is provided by veteran peers who have also received extensive training.
